Achmea's best-kept secret... Any self-respecting organization acknowledges the importance of involving employees in conveying key principles and values, ensuring that everyone is aligned. And every communication professional is familiar with the challenges of effectively addressing this, especially when it comes to touching people's hearts. In such cases, video becomes an ideal medium for impactful and efficient communication within an organization.

Achmea & Van Luyken

Within the insurance company Achmea, the Claims & Income Team wanted to reiterate to both their own employees and the entire Achmea organization what they stand for. What do they offer their customers, how do they approach it, and what are their team goals.


Bureau Van Luyken, together with the Claims & Income management team, had developed this story into compelling monologues. We were tasked with bringing this story to life visually.

The core message was that while the role of the Claims & Income team within Achmea is indeed very important, it is not well-known enough. They wanted to change that. The secret needed to be revealed.

To start with, we wanted to visually convey to viewers that there was a secret. And to make people curious about this beautiful and important secret.

We therefore packaged the secret in a golden box, with a keyhole on one side from which light was radiating.
The keyhole is also a part of the Claims & Income Team's campaign, together with the key, it forms the core of various visual elements.

We placed this golden box in various locations in the offices of Achmea and invited people to look inside. When they looked inside, they saw the management team members, one by one, stepping into the spotlight to clarify what the Claims & Income team stands for.

The video has contributed to introducing the renewed corporate culture, a process that naturally requires perseverance and never really stops. There are new initiatives on the agenda where video also plays an important role. Watch the video at the top of the page to see how this has turned out.
