A safety film you can't stop watching

Organizations put a lot of effort into creating a safe and healthy work environment. To ensure safety within a company, employees and external parties are often required to watch a safety video. However, when something becomes mandatory, intrinsic motivation may decrease. In such cases, the message may not stick well. We have produced a video that the target audience wants to keep watching. But even more importantly, a video that raises awareness about the risks on the premises and in buildings.

NXP Semiconductors is a Dutch chip manufacturer for the automotive industry. They provide chips for security systems and Internet of Things applications, which are chips for devices connected to the internet.

Often, a safety film is implemented in a company as a mandatory component. The film serves to ensure safety within the company. Employees must be aware of the risks in the workplace, so they are required to watch the film. However, this doesn't always achieve the desired outcome. Employees themselves may not see the importance of it. Therefore, it's important to raise their awareness with a video highlighting the risks on the premises and in buildings. We have succeeded in producing a video that the target audience wants to keep watching.

Often, existing regulations are translated into a list of all rules, resulting in a lengthy video. This tends to lose the viewer's attention quickly, causing them to disengage. Consequently, not all safety rules are effectively communicated. Therefore, it is not advisable to apply this approach in a safety film. However, it can be effective in other mediums.

We have gained several years of experience and now know when the target audience watches the video all the way through. This is due to our playful concepts, clear message, and storytelling.
